Package Design, Keep it Simple

Keep Your Packaging Design SimpleI’ve (Greg Connolly) been working with a client on their first big launch into the wacky world of mass merchant distribution. Shelf space & position, box or naked product, benefits, messaging, brand statement, color, size, hang tag or not etc, etc.

How do we get that aisle cruiser to stop and “notice me”!?

Trolling the aisles of any mass merchant will make anyone think we are all A.D.D. sufferers so let’s just stop it and focus on simple messaging. Give me a visually intriguing look that is actually connected to the brand message, simple clear copy that tells me in two seconds what I’m looking at and in 3 more seconds tells me 3 (not 10) key reasons why I should add this product to my cart.

Our customers are pounded all day with so many options and messages through work, play, shopping, kids and school. Let’s give ‘em a break. I’ll bet we’ll be rewarded with increase sales.

Should your products be on a messaging diet? Call us 603-924-1978 or fill our our request form. The packaging nutritionist is in!
