Memorable Pets is a company started by two sisters who lost their mother to Alzheimer’s disease. Research has shown that the comfort of a pet(even a stuffed one) provides companionship, support and joy to Alzheimer’s patients which improves their quality of life. The touching story of how Memorable Pets came to be is based on just that, it’s a product and mission we had no trouble getting instantly immersed in.

The new website is designed to serve two purposes:

Educate visitors about Alzheimer’s disease
Showcase and sell their selection of stuffed animals

Our top priority was to make it quick and easy for Memorable Pets to publish and manage all of their online content. That is why we went with a WordPress website using a Woothemes framework and Shopp as the e-commerce plugin for the site. WordPress is THE BEST website content management platform around these days. WordPress is easy to set up and easy to maintain, with one of the shortest learning curves around. Once we combined that with the e-commerce plugin by Shopp and the Simplicity Woothemes framework, we created the foundation we needed to build a successful website for Memorable Pets.
